I was born and raised in Florida. I taught myself to program on a TRS-80 in
the summer of 1980. My interest in astronomy began by listening to
Jack Horkheimer's telephone tape, "What's up in the night sky,"
every night one winter. After spending four years with the US Army, I
went back to college. I met my wife in my sophomore year, at the
University of North Carolina. I graduated
with a BS in Physics and Mathematics. I went on to get a
MSEE at the North Carolina A&T State University. I am now a senior
scientist for the Analytical Spatial Intelligence Research Team at
Applied Research Associates, Inc.
